Selective Laser Sintering (SLS). The versatile procedure.

If functional prototypes with a wide range of material properties are required, then the SLS procedure is the first choice. This process builds up the model, layer by layer, using thermoplastic powder and sinters the powder via a high powered C02 laser.

Applications

  • Ready to install functional prototypes
  • Models with technical functions (snap connections, film hinges)
  • Small batch series
  • Components for special machines

Properties

  • Achieves high material requisition
  • Temperature, mechanical and chemical resistance
  • Unlimited part sizes
  • Can be colored
  • Infiltrated for complete density
  • Good dimensional stability
  • Biocompatibility (with certificate)
